Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is hosting its Michelin Master Series from 19 October to 7 December 2026, with three Michelin-starred chefs each taking a week-long residency at the resort in Alif Dhaal Atoll, according to the resort's event pages.

Each chef leads four experiences, giving 12 in total: a welcome reception for in-house guests, a dinner at the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant and further dinners or sessions elsewhere on the island.

The chefs and dates

Theodor Falser, who leads the Michelin-starred Johannesstube in the Dolomites, opened the series. His programme ran from a welcome reception on 19 October to a seven-course Ithaa dinner on 20 October, a sunset champagne cruise on the Majesty yacht on 21 October and a five-course beach dinner featuring local lobster on 24 October.

British chef Simon Hulstone follows from 16 November. The resort said he has led The Elephant Restaurant since 2005 and kept its Michelin star for more than 20 consecutive years. His dates are a welcome reception on 16 November, a seven-course Ithaa menu on 17 November, a five-course wine-paired dinner in the Wine Cellar on 19 November and a beach dinner on 21 November.

Gabriela Filca closes the series in December. The resort said she took charge of Nebo Restaurant & Lounge at Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa in Croatia at 23, and that the restaurant retained its Michelin star in 2024, the year Gault&Millau named her its Great Chef of Tomorrow.

Filca's programme begins with a welcome reception on 1 December, followed by an Ithaa tasting menu on 3 December, a four-course lobster dinner on the beach on 5 December and a cooking masterclass on 7 December.

Small venues

Ithaa, which sits below the surface of the lagoon and which the resort describes as the world's first undersea restaurant, hosts one dinner in each residency. The welcome receptions take place at the resort's Rantheli venue.

The resort has not published prices for the events on its website and directs guests to its experiences team for bookings.
