Tiny Hearts of Maldives has completed its "Heart Healthy Raajje" project, which produced 10 free exercise videos, the Bank of Maldives (BML) said on X on 7 November 2026. The project was funded through the BML Bank Fund.

What the project offers

The 10 videos are made to be inclusive. They cover different age groups, fitness levels and abilities, so more people can find a workout that suits them.

The project is guided by the Maldives Physical Activity Guidelines (2022).

Where to watch

  • The videos are free to watch on a dedicated Instagram page.

  • They are also on the Tiny Hearts of Maldives website.

  • They can be downloaded.

Why it matters

The aim is to encourage regular physical activity and help prevent non-communicable diseases. These are long-term conditions such as heart disease and diabetes, which can be linked to inactivity.

Because the videos are free and can be downloaded, people on islands and in homes across the country can follow them without needing a gym or a trainer.

About the BML Bank Fund

The Bank Fund is a yearly grant programme run by BML. It supports five selected projects each year, and each project receives MVR 200,000.

Tiny Hearts of Maldives is a non-governmental organisation known for its work on heart health.
