The Ooredoo Fun Run 2026 takes place in Hulhumalé on Friday 11 December, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and registration is open, Ooredoo says.

Ooredoo said on X on 26 October that registrations are open. It also said the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is the official hosting partner of the event.

Registration closes at 23:59 on 7 November, and Ooredoo says slots are limited. Register on Moolee: moolee.mv/category/Fun-Run-2026

The run

The route is 5 km and open to all ages. It is not timed, so people can walk, jog or dance it. Ooredoo says there will be fun obstacles and activities along the route, so the focus is on taking part rather than finishing times.

Kits

Ooredoo offers two kits:

  • Fun Kit, MVR 210: Fun Run T-shirt, multipurpose bandana, bag and eyeglasses

  • Standard Kit, MVR 110: Fun Run T-shirt, multipurpose bandana and bib

  • Music show: 8:00 pm to midnight
