The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort in Dhaalu Atoll is hosting three international tennis players for a series of guest residencies running from 29 October to 27 November, according to the resort's official event listings.
The sessions are held under the resort's Astor Club programme in partnership with LUX Tennis. Croatia's Donna Vekić opened the series this week, with Spain's Paula Badosa and Russia's Daniil Medvedev to follow in November.
The schedule
Donna Vekić: 29 October to 1 November
Paula Badosa: 13 to 14 November
Daniil Medvedev: 26 to 27 November
Each residency includes a meet-and-greet, private sessions and group sessions for adults, plus a junior group session, the listings show. Vekić's programme began with a meet-and-greet on 29 October and ends with a junior session on 1 November.
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion and a former world No. 1, will hold a meet-and-greet, private sessions and an adult group session on 26 November, and a junior group session on 27 November, the resort said.
Badosa, a former world No. 2 who won the 2021 Indian Wells title and reached the 2025 Australian Open semi-finals, will hold sessions on 13 and 14 November. Vekić reached the Wimbledon semi-finals and won Olympic silver in Paris in 2024, the resort noted.
The resort has not published prices for the sessions. It said reservations, villa choices and personalised arrangements are handled by its reservations team.
The St. Regis Maldives announced its LUX Tennis partnership in February, saying it would expand its tennis programme with visiting professionals and add a padel court. Earlier visits under the partnership featured Angelique Kerber in March and Feliciano López in May.
